Wow. What a special experience. I picked this experience because I wanted to do a hike, but I didn't have a car, so the fact that Michelle drives you out to the trail is a huge bonus. Not only was the hike surroundings beautiful, but the guided meditation and the mindful hike really helped me connect with myself and my goals. It was unexpectedly sweetly emotional. Michelle was so friendly and helpful, and I also loved meeting the other couple who was on the hike. Michelle's experience is top rated for a reason - it is a fantastic time and you should do it!
An incredibly relaxing, rejuvenating and reflective experience. The forest is breathtakingly beautiful and the hike is indeed a peaceful one. Michelle was a great guide; informative, patient and engaging. She also really helps you learn a lot about yourself from the beginning to the end. I’m sure the outcome is unique to the individual, but for me personally, I found myself imbued with creative energy throughout. I highly recommend this activity!
I’m so glad I did this! It was a wonderful experience full of great company and beautiful nature. I went into this with the expectation of seeing natural beauty, but I left with so much more! The meditative portion led by Michelle was truly eye-opening and gave me a different perspective on my life. Plus Michelle is very kind, and it was lovely spending time with the group. Having my feet on the ground and seeing Michelle just ahead, leading us through this enchanted forest, was an experience with nature that was a welcomed break from traffic and the rush of our daily routines. It's so important to be able to disconnect from the noise that surrounds us and be able to take the time to touch and hear nature. Today's entire experience was exactly the thing I needed to get myself acclimated to the outdoors of Seattle. Have recently moved from New York City, I was looking for a calm and grounding experience ( like meditation) that also included the gorgeous backdrop of nature. Michelle was an excellent host and guide! Her warm and welcoming personality was uplifting and fun! Our group of women was unique because all 4 of us were new to Seattle and instantly bonded on that commonality. Michelle led us through a thoughtful and stimulating guided meditation for our senses, a 3 mile hike, and then afterwards we shared our reflections over laughs and tasty snacks she provided. The hiking trail was easy and mostly flat. I truly enjoyed my experience so much and was a little sad when it was over. It was a special day with a great group of women. We all stepped away from our routines and out of our comfort zones to do something thing for ourselves. If you want to get out into nature and need some self reflection time in the woods, then this is the perfect way to tune into yourself and unplug from the outside world and your phone!! Do this nice thing for yourself, you'll be happy you did!
Michelle is a great spirit and has a positive energy! She is open and inviting to whomever she encounters. I am jealous of her friends who get to be around her wonderful spirit everyday! She is the perfect guide for the hiking trail! Michelle knows her way around the trail like the back of her hand. You will be lead through a meditative walk through a beautiful trail in the forest filled with water ponds, bridges, and a canopy of trees. Even though it rained during our hike, the trees made the rain into subtle drizzle, which added to our hike. The rain heightened our senses and gave a great breeze! It was the perfect weather! The meditation portion was relaxing and eye opening experience. It was a great way to relax and recharge before returning to the city. It was definitely the highlight of our trip to Seattle! You should not miss out on this experience!
There needs to be more people like Michelle in the world. She's so warm, kind, welcoming - and a great facilitator and listener. I've done a lot of hikes in the area but this is definitely one of a kind. I felt so peaceful and joyous during and after this whole experience. Michelle helped me experience hiking in a more mindful way. I also met three other genuine people and I'm so grateful for this experience. Be sure to eat a solid breakfast beforehand since picnic is light and happens at the end of the hike.
Michelle was amazing! I felt calm and welcome from the moment I met her in down town Seattle. Once we met and got on the road for the hike she had such a great way of getting to know all of us. The Hike was perfect. A little wet that day, but it brought out such a crisp feeling, that I think it added to the experience. I am pretty much a local. I live in Tacoma. When I first read about this hike I knew it was something I needed after my oldest sons wedding. I was right. The calm meditative hike gave me peace and clarity that was needed after such an exciting event. I would recommend this to anyone on a vacation, business trip, or even a Staycation. Well worth it!! Michelle has such a genuine and pure soul. She's obviously been through a lot, and she was able to find peace in her journey. Now, she shares her meditative experience with those who dare to join her. Michelle has such a warm presence and made us feel welcomed and safe. We never felt pressured to say more, and never felt embarrassed for not sharing enough. Time passed by so quickly, and unfortunately the experience came to an end after only three hours. Thank you Michelle for reminding us to take a step back from our hectic lives in order to simply enjoy what Mother Nature has to offer us.
I booked this experience before I even booked my plane ticket to Seattle because it sounded exactly like what I wanted my trip to Seattle to be- relaxed, adventurous and awakening. Michelle is a great host, and the experience was fantastic. Not only did I get a guide to take me out on a hike, but also got to meet 3 other amazing people to share a morning with. If mindfulness and meditation and hiking are your things, you have to go- well worth it- everybody could use a silent hike in nature surrounded by kindness and support of others :)
Michelle was knowledgeable, welcoming, and took a genuine interest in making sure every member of the group felt fulfilled. The entire experience was beneficial and very well conducted. In my opinion, it would fit well into anyone's spiritual or personal journey. I felt relaxed, rejuvenated and confident afterwords.

Michelle took us to a beautiful area right outside of Seattle. We started out with a visualization to get our heads in a place to be open and appreciate the hike we were about to embark on. Once the hike began I was able to get in touch with nature and enjoy the nature areas I was surrounded by. Everyone went at their own pace on the peaceful trail we took, but Michelle kept an eye on everyone who moved at a slower pace. After our hike was over we had a picnic in a nice area and those who wanted to discussed how the experience effected them. I would go on this experience again when I return to Seattle. I booked Michelle's guided, meditative hiking tour because I sensed it'd be right up my alley as I have cultivated my own meditation practice for the past seven years. Michelle's tour was a great way to spend a morning. She is welcoming, warm, personable and down-to-earth. Regarding the meditation and hike, she positively reinforced good things that my own practice is helping me cultivate, and she also planted some new seeds! :-) This activity was a wonderful way to step away from routines, deadlines hustle and bustle, and instead get more deeply in tune with your inner self.

We started the morning out with some meditation to ground ourselves before our silent meditative hike. The trail itself was incredible. The meditation hike started with Michelle guiding the group through our five senses' perception of the environment. I loved the concept for the whole process reawakens the inner self. The hike was done in meditation allowing you take it all and reflect on life's up and down Michelle is certainly gifted in what she does. I recommend meditation hike highly!! This was a great experience and Michelle was an excellent guide on this little journey. We didn't know exactly what to expect but knew this could be whatever we wanted it to be; from a simple hike, to full-on inner experience and that put us at ease. We were a four person group where only one other and myself had minimal experience with meditation. Not only did Michelle pick us up from our hotel and drive us our to the forest and trails, she also took the time to talk to, and get to know us. I feel like she adequately gauged our levels and who we were and made the experience the best it could be out of that. We spent five days in Seattle and this was the only day it was lightly drizzling. Fortunately, this only made our hike a better experience. The sound of rain hitting the leaves opened up a whole new dimension to the experience. Prior to the hike we did a guided meditation through all five senses and this helped make me more aware of the surroundings. The hike was a simple, no pressure journey through the trails. It was everything from quiet, to us all chatting, to us stopping constantly to take photos. Never once was Michelle annoyed at us, she was happy to let us do our thing. After the hike she shared a light meal of snacks at a picnic table and food is always the cherry on top with us :D I'd highly recommend this for anyone on vacation, whether traveling alone, or in a small group. You can tell Michelle is passionate about doing this, and we enjoyed spending time with her as much as I hope she did with us.
Michelle is such a loving and kind soul; she made the entire experience so wonderful and pleasant. This was my first time visiting Seattle and also booking an Airbnb "experience." Michelle was so friendly, positive and accommodating. Since we were visiting from out of state and didn't rent a car, she offered to pick us up from our downtown hotel the morning of the hike. She really makes an effort to get to know you, which I dig. I loved how personable she made our hike and allowed us to "modify" our meditative experience. Not everyone in our group are big into mediation and weren't really keen on a silent hike. Michelle was 100% understanding and said she caters each experience to each individual group. I really enjoyed the beginning meditation session; it was so peaceful and relaxing. The particular area she drove us to (about 40 mins East of Seattle) was absolutely BEAUTIFUL and serene. Thank you Michelle for everything, it was a pleasure meeting you and experiencing nature with you!
It's a day after our experience with Michelle and I'm still in awe at how moving it was! Michelle is incredibly knowledgeable, genuine, kind, and a wonderful guide. The meditation was a great intro to the beautiful hike and helped me feel more centered and immersed in the beautiful natural surroundings. I'm so grateful for this incredible experience and highly recommend it. Whether you're familiar with meditation and hiking or not, Michelle will accommodate and work with you on your level. I can't say enough good things about this experience and I'm still feeling a healing buzz from it! The next time I visit Seattle I will definitely look to experience this again. This hike really helped me in a pivotal moment in my life. Michelle has a unique way of assisting you with really detaching yourself from the chaos and busyness of your life and focusing on just being in the moment. Come open minded and allow yourself to fully immerse yourself in this eye opening experience. Trust in her guidance and in yourself as you partake in the hike and allow yourself to appreciate just being alive. Michelle is so kindhearted and she touched my life in a way I will will never forget.
Michelle's meditative hike provided a welcome respite from the city, without having to go far at all. I really appreciate her hospitality and flexibility as our host. I was running a bit behind, and messaged her, and she even bought me a cup of coffee and was waiting for me when I arrived a few minutes late!
This was one of the highlights of my recent girls trip. Michelle offered our group the experience of calm, peace, reflection and balance before and after a quiet trek through a beautiful piece of the cascade mountains. As we all need to rebalance ourselves, Michelle's approach to centering oneself in the midst of our natural surroundings was much needed and priceless. My mom and I had zero expectations for this but it was something different to do and with the insanity in both of our lives right now we could definitely use more meditation. This experience was one of the most emotional experiences I have ever been through as well as for my mom. Michelle is an exceptional meditative guide and therapist and person. She changed my outlook and my mom's outlook with regard to meditating, remembering what it means to be human and love yourself, as well as how we look at and be with nature, particularly the forests in Seattle. If I had to describe the experience in a word it would be magical. If I had to describe Michelle in one word it would be joy. Highly recommend this, even if you've never meditated. Our time was truly transformative. Michelle has a true gift of creating a space for the inner journey as well as the actual hike experience. The meditation in the meadow before the hike took me to a place that allowed for some amazing reflection and life altering insights. The hike itself was perfect and beautiful and the energy of the group was palpable. We met some amazing people, spent time sharing our stories with each other over a light lunch and walked away the richer for the experience. I highly recommend this hike not only for the beauty of the park but also for the beauty of the person leading this wonderful adventure.
Going on this hike with Michelle was exactly what I needed. I've struggled with meditation for years and yet felt completely at ease throughout the experience. The hike was perfect and the entire morning was really beautiful, from start to finish. Michelle is wonderful and meeting her was such a blessing. I cannot recommend this experience highly enough.
First off, Michelle is amazing. She's real and down to earth and really loves what she does. The experience itself is also exceptional. Before you begin the hike, Michelle talks you through an internal meditation that really sets the stage for the experience you will have as you walk through the woods. You'll learn about yourself and, if you're open to it, explore the things that cause you pain. It's emotional in a deeply personal way, and absolutely worth it. Plus, if you're lucky, you'll land in a really good group and make some potentially long-term friends. I would recommend this a hundred times over, both for the people and the experience.
Michelle is very kind and sincere. She is also a positive person. To preface, I am a very private person. I was hesitant about having a guided group meditation in a public setting. Fortunately, Michelle created an atmosphere that was effective for the task. Before the hike Michelle guided the group to a small clearing that was off of the hiking path. She was calm and quiet in her speaking so I could clearly tell she wasn't trying to give a meditation demonstration to any curious members of the public. It was generally private and very casual and understood by all that any participation in the meditation was encouraged but not mandatory.
Where do I begin.. Michelle was absolutely phenomenal! She's so bubbly and sweet, the mediation hike I feel came to me at the right time in my life, I went to Seattle alone in search of happiness as well as some meaningful connection. This took the cake, the hike was beautiful, we started out with a brief but yet blissful mediation session before the hike and were asked to be receptive to all that was around and to listen to our mind if it's telling us to go and do something to do just that do it!I was in awe by all the trees there were to be seen,all the many different layers of the hike, as well as all of the wonderful nature sounds! Once the hike was finished we all sat down and had a sweet picnic eating session, were we all talked and touched on some very personal past situations(I doubt that's how it will be for everyone but it's just the way our conversation took us!) we laughed we cried, as well as bonded. Safe to say this experience will be in my heart for many years to come Michelle will also be in my heart/thoughts. If anyone is looking for a meaningful joyous experience you HAVE TO pick this one!!! You won't be let down!
